Postnatal Offerings
Once you are home and starting to find your feet settling into life with your new baby, I am able to visit to provide some much needed (or wanted) postnatal support to help you feel more comfortable and confident as new parents.
While you are settling into feeding and caring for your new baby, or taking some time to care for yourself, sometimes you need a little bit of support - an extra pair of hands. I am here to help you with all your needs.
I can assist with caring for baby, caring for mothers wellbeing, breastfeeding education and support, bathing and settling baby, hints and tips on caring for baby.
I provide extra help in the family home with

*Baby care hints and tips
*Light household duties
*Referral to local support services available
Newborn Care
Guidance, education and support with all your baby needs.
I provide hands on help with newborn care.
I can support you with feeding your new baby with breastfeeding support. I can provide education and support with Breastfeeding, such as attachment, positions, feeding patterns and breastcare. If you choose to bottle feed, I can provide information on correct preparation of formula and sterilisation of bottles.
I can provide information on SIDS/safe sleeping.
I can provide hints and tips on settling baby.
I can give you information on caring for your new baby to help you feel more confident as a new parent.
For example, I can do bath demonstrations for you, and/or guide you through doing a baby bath yourself, settling baby, wrapping your baby etc. Any guidance that will provide some extra help to meet your needs.
I can provide care for baby (and other children if present) for you. If you need to take some time out for a rest or sleep, or just some 'me time' I am able to take care of your baby for you, and you can be assured they are in good hands.
Home Care
While you are taking a well deserved rest I can help around your home with some light household duties, support you with breastfeeding your baby or looking after baby while you take a shower/bath. Home duties such as general light cleaning, doing the dishes, vacuuming, washing and folding etc
